I have 5 younger siblings at home. I have always been a 2nd mom to them. When I was wearing pull-ups, I was changing my younger sisters diapers! I have always loved helping my parents with my younger brothers and sisters. When I was 10, I begged my dad and step mom to have another baby girl for me. Luckily she was a girl because I didn’t want anymore brothers! Now, she’s going to be 9 in a few months and she’s my favorite sister… don’t tell the others!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
EVERYTHING!! If you want to run outside, if you want to dress up, if you want to watch a movie, I’ll do anything! Safe of course!
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most about being a nanny or babysitter is making a good impact on the kids and family. You want the kids to want you to come back. You don’t want them to be crying all night wishing their parents were there instead. You want to become one of their friends that they look forward to seeing! You want them to be crying when you leave! Younger kids is when the most crucial developmental stages happen for them. I want to be there and be able to set them up for success, teach them to have polite manners and incredible respect! Teach them to be confident and ways to make new friends and explore the things they like to do.
