I’ve worked in the school system for 5 years as a paraeducator and I’ve worked as a head preschool teacher for over a year. I’ve been working with children since I was 14 and my experience began when I worked at the YMCA camp. Since then I’ve worked in various child care settings.

I love creating sensory bins indoors for children. It’s a great way to improve fine motor skills and engage in conversation that helps strengthen their language skills. Outside we can play with chalk, put music on, ride bikes and more. I have created many lesson plans and activities in the last 5 years and can ensure they are age appropriate.

The most important part about being a nanny is teaching children social emotional skills and self help skills. I’ve always enjoyed that aspect of the Montessori approach and with support, children are so capable of learning many things!
