I have volunteered with children before. In Africa, Ghana I spent two weeks with little kids and played and help them with their needs. I’ve also use to babysit my family friends kids who ranged from the age group of 4-8. I’ve also volunteered at boys and girls club.

The most important part about becoming a nanny is the connection you have with the child. I went to Ghana over the summer to help kids and connect with them and it was the most special and powerful bond I have ever felt.

My cousin has ADHD and I’ve spent a lot of time with him and learned how to help him when he is not in the mood and how to make the situation better.

My favorite moment when being with a kid was when I was playing soccer. We were actually having fun without any electronics we were outside playing and having a great time. This made me feel that kids can still be kids and actually enjoy them self without a tv or iPad in their possession.
