I have worked with a family for a year. The child was 1-3 years old. I would play with her, feed her, and change her when needed. I also used to take her on walks in her stroller. When I started I was (and still am) fairly new with childcare but my volunteer work with non-profit organizations Rose’s Clubhouse and Motherly Autistic Care reflects my commitment to serving children with diverse needs. From organizing community events to supporting children with autism, I have cultivated patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of creating inclusive environments where every child can thrive.
I am particularly drawn to this opportunity because it is a way for me to gain experience working with kids as a future educator and I also have a passion for working with the youth.
