Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy both in door and out door activities! My last family we would go bike riding, paint at color me mine, have karaoke night and started doing a cooking show. They loved the cooking show ( everything was filmed on the Dads iPad ). I am a trained dancer and we would ballet classes or yoga in the back yard. I just love having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My last family and I became really close because I was a live in Nanny and their father was a single dad that was a fire fighter. I remember going over lines with the two girls that I was watching at the time and they cried and said “We love you and love that you show up for us because sometimes we feel looked over.” Which made us closer but also made me decide to go to the Christmas performance. I had told them I couldn’t make it and they were sad but once I showed up with flowers at the show they ran and gave me a big hug! I was the only one to come to the Christmas show. Still to this day we are in contact, because we are still a family!
