The most important part about being a nanny...

During a fitness game, I challenged a group of kids to see who could do the funniest exercise. I was expecting jumping jacks or bear crawls, but one child invented what he called the “spaghetti squat”—which looked more like a wiggling noodle having a meltdown. Within minutes, every kid was doing spaghetti squats, and somehow I ended up leading a full workout of noodle impersonations. I was laughing so hard I could barely keep score. Moments like that remind me that kids make even the simplest activities unforgettable.
