Hi, my name is Ashley! I am the second oldest of four children, so I grew up helping to care for my younger sisters from an early age. During college at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I studied Genetics with minors in Art and Dance, and I also worked as a ballet teacher for children ages 3–12. Teaching ballet gave me experience guiding kids in a fun but structured environment while encouraging confidence, creativity, and discipline. Beyond that, I spent over five years working in scientific research, where I honed my patience, organization, and problem-solving skills — all qualities that carry directly into childcare. I’ve also babysat for family friends and neighbors and mentored younger students throughout school. These experiences have taught me the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and engaging space where children can thrive. With my mix of science and creativity, I enjoy weaving learning, crafts, and outdoor adventures into everyday care.
