More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I truly love caring for children of all ages and have been babysitting for as long as I can remember. My time as a preschool teacher for about 2 ½ years gave me the joy of working with little ones from infancy through age 5, and I loved being part of their early growth and learning. I’ve also nannied for older children (ages 6–13), where I enjoyed helping with homework, activities, and being a positive role model. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for a child with Down syndrome, which taught me patience, compassion, and how every child’s needs are unique. Working with kids has always been such a rewarding part of my life, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment wherever I go.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities to do with children include spending time outdoors, whether it’s playing games in the yard, going for walks, or simply enjoying fresh air together. I love being creative with kids—making crafts, building forts, and using our imaginations to come up with fun projects. I also enjoy helping with homework and teaching little things along the way, turning everyday moments into learning opportunities. My goal is always to make time with kids fun, active, and meaningful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making kids feel safe, cared for, and understood. No matter their age, it’s about being there for them, encouraging their curiosity, and just having fun while helping them grow.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs, including a child with Down syndrome and a child with ADHD. While nannying for a child with Down syndrome, I supported him through emotional ups and downs, assisted with meal preparation, medication management, and focused on maintaining a calm and positive environment. I’ve also cared for a child with ADHD, where patience, structure, and engaging activities were key to helping him thrive. These experiences taught me how important it is to meet each child’s unique needs with compassion, understanding, and consistency.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Like I have mentioned before, I love doing crafts and making artwork with kiddos! One of my favorite moments was when I was doing a craft project with a little one and watching her imagination and creativity take over. It was so fun seeing her ideas come to life, and at the end, she proudly gave me her artwork to keep!
