Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am an enrichment teaching assistant at a school and work with kids with and without disabilities. It has allowed me to learn more about how to cater towards specific needs in children and help them excel in a multiple facets. I also was a swim instructor so this gave me the ability to engage with children in stressful situations and give them assurance and confidence in themselves which is great to see.

The most important part about being a nanny...
providing children with the opportunity to experience things that help them developmentally. I also love to make the smile and look forward to what the day has to bring. Seeing them also gain new hobbies that they will take with them throughout their lifetime makes me happy.

I used to volunteer within a music therapy setting and it has given me the greatest moments to understand ways in which children with special needs communicate and how I can help create an environment that tailors to them and allows them to grow.
