I volunteered at my local church in their childcare center for a little over a year at age 15. I also was a DSP for a year working with special needs kids ages 2-19. I am CRP certified and med certified.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children are being outside in the nature, going to parks, swimming, riding bikes, playing basketball, soccer ect. I also love to paint and color, along with playing legos, video games, board games and reading books. I love teaching and growing with my nanny kids and learning new things every day!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is a very rewarding job. I get to watch children grow in real time, support and teach them new things and celebrate early experiences they have in life. Patience, problem solving, creativity, caring and organization are some things that are important to me as being a nanny.

I was a DSP for a year working with special needs kids ages 2-19. During that time I worked with many different types of disabilities. The individuals taught me so much and I’m forever grateful for that experience!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have had many memorable moments over the 4 years I’ve worked with kids it’s hard to choose just one! Some of my favorite memories include simple moments like building huge pillow forts to read in, making homemade ice cream together, taking the kids to the park and rolling down hills till I was dizzy, swimming and playing mermaids and so many more. I really enjoy the simple moments of joy that nannying brings me!
