More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a candy striper volunteer at the hospital when I was in 6th grade and worked with many children through my years volunteering there.
I was also a nanny for a 3-year-old beautiful little girl in Conneaut Lake, PA for multiple years.
And I also have 2 younger brothers I helped care for and I'm the oldest. We are all 7 years apart.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Fishing, Reading, Walks, Museums, Parks, Helping with Homework, Making flashcards to study, Arts and Crafts, Board Games, Zoo, Yardwork, Chores, Playing outside, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to help the children learn, grow, and most importantly be safe while they are out of their parents care. Also making the parents be able to relax and feel confident in know their children are safe and in good hands.
And you just cant beat the natural innocence of a child and watching them try new things and have fun, it helps relieve stress and helps depression.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat for a beautiful young girl by the name of Emily who had down syndrome and the was an absolute joy!

The most important part about being a nanny...

When Athena and her Mom picked me up so I could come visit and she grabbed ahold of my hand and held it the entire hour and a half car ride because she had missed me and didnt want me to leave again so soon. Melted my heart.
