Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have nannied for families since 2017, and babysat prior to that. I also have formal education in child development as well as training in a state accredited childcare facility with ages newborn-13 years old. I have also been a stay at home working mom for over 4 years!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing activities with the children, they learn by example. No child will ever learn by what you say if you don’t model it, so modeling behavior and activities is a very big thing to me. Baking, cooking, playing, and taking the kids to the park or to run errands is such a great thing for them. Montessori based play is also very important for their development to gain independence and really grasp independent play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me about being a nanny is showing Jesus’ love to everyone, not trying to force religion but just loving everyone unconditionally, being forgiving, and kind overall. To be able to bring that love and kindness to another family and help take care of other children as i would my own is very beautiful to me.
