Hi, I'm Ashlin! A little bit about me, I am 21 going on 22 and I adore children! I love to read, knit/crochet, go to church, & hang out with my cat. Fun fact about me is that I’m currently learning 7 languages, Spanish, French, Italian, Scottish Gaelic, Greek, Hebrew, and Latin. I also would like to learn German or Dutch, maybe Polish? I want to be a polyglot by the time I’m 25 & would love to be fluent in all by 30.

I work part time at a food truck in Galveston so I know how to stay calm and levelheaded in stressful situations. I also went to Galveston College for Culinary Arts.

I can stand, play, talk, cook, & clean for hours. I'm good with children & pets, and will comply with ALL the household rules (ex. no sweets before bed, homework before watching tv, etc.)

I also offer pet sitting and house cleaning services :))

My experience working with children is vast, but I’ll run out of room if I listed them all! Happy to give you the run down, if wanted. The preview is: I got my first job at 15, at a children’s museum & I have been regularly watching my 5 year old niece since she was born.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I grew up playing outside with my siblings, kids in my neighborhood, cousins, and friends. Personally, when I have kids, want to raise barefoot, garden babies! So I am ALL for the most outside activities possible. I love going on nature walks, playing with bubbles, sand, water, dirt, and picking flowers. I will say, I strongly dislike playing tag, and I tend to get hit in the face when I play soccer, but other than that, I’m down for it all! I am super creative, and love all things art. I love crafts, and coloring, and painting, and getting my hands dirty. I would also love to include the kids in any meals/snacks I make.
