In my second and third year of high school I was in a program called Ready,Set,Teach we’re my class and I were sent to a non profit preschool we’re we picked what age group we wanted to teach and learn more about.The kids ages ranged from 6 weeks old to 5 years old.I worked with the 2 year olds, during that age range we taught them how to read their colors and numbers.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing board games that are interacting for them.I always end up taking the kids outside for at least and hour so they can get their energy out before putting them down for a nap.

Is being there for the kids when they hit their amazing milestones as they grow up.Its such an amazing experience to be there with the kids while they grow and learn.
My experience with special needs children...
In high school there was a class for special needs students called SPED, my class and I went in their class and worked with the students for about 2 months and learned the way how their taught the same things we are taught and how they interact with their teachers.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would be, when the children run up to me and hug me whenever they see me first walk through the door I think that’s an amazing emotion I feel every time I care for the kids.

I was a live in nanny for a 1-year-old and 6-year-old for 5 months, only reason I stopped working for them was because they couldn't afford to pay me anymore.
While working for that family I ran errands, did housekeeping (washed dishes, did laundry, wiped down surfaces, vacuumed, swiped, mopped, cleaned toilets, made beds), took care of their puppy, took the kids on outings, helped the oldest with homework, did simple meal prep, and engaged both the oldest and youngest in brain stimulating activities.
I'm also currently an after school nanny for two boys ages 5 and 9. I help them with homework, reading and spelling (the 9-year-old is dyslexic). I also do simple meal prep and help with tidying up the house and laundry from time to time.
I have my own car and can carpool if needed. I'm a non-smoker. I'm fine with light house keeping and pet sitting.
I'll give references upon request.
