I have extensive experience in child care. Through roles as a nanny, camp counselor, childcare associate, and lifeguard, I have developed strong skills in supervision, communication, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for children of varying ages. I planned engaging activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, reading, and more and created an environment that encouraged children to engage in social play and conversations to problem-solve with other children. I was required to respond calmly and effectively to conflicts and disagreements that arose. Additionally, these positions required strong communication and relationships with the children's parents regarding behavior, child progress, and disagreements between children. My volunteer experience in a pediatric rehabilitation clinic has strengthened by understanding of patient-centered care and teamwork. I am passionate about creating environments where children feel supported!

Activities I enjoy doing with children are dance parties, arts and crafts, coloring pages, board games, legos, magic tricks, story telling, and sports (catch, tag..). I'm very creative and love coming up with new games!

The most important part about being a nanny to me is not only keeping children safe and entertained, but also to be a friend and mentor for them. It's important for children to have people other than their parents to look up to, and I hope to be that person for children.

I nannied for two children for a few years and became so close with them, every time I would walk in the house, they'd both run up to me and give me a big hug, it was adorable. We'd play outside until it got dark, then we'd switch to legos and board games, and I'd read them each at least 3 books each night. We had so much fun and laughed very hard together.
