I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer as a summer teacher for 3rd graders at Mill Creek Elementary, where i focused on teaching reading and writing. I’ve also been caring for children for 11 years, working with kids as young as 2 years old all the way up to 12.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of the activities I’ve enjoyed while babysitting include taking kids to local parks, drawing with chalk outside, and baking cookies or brownies together. I’ve also helped with homework and reading, and even taught a little piano (though I’m a bit rusty now). Board games and Wii games are always a hit, and I’m open to just about anything that brings the kids joy and keeps them entertained.
