Growing up in that environment has given me a lot of hands-on experience with children of all ages. I have several years of experience volunteering at a summer camp through SADD, where I worked closely with kids in group settings. I’ve also helped out at other SADD events involving children. In addition, I volunteered at my stepmother’s daycare over the summer, where I gained experience supervising, engaging, and caring for younger children in a structured environment.

I love doing arts and crafts, reading, and coming up with fun, creative activities to keep kids engaged. I also enjoy helping children learn new things, whether that’s through play, schoolwork, or everyday experiences. I think it’s really special how kids can learn from us, and we can learn from them too.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children can grow, learn, and feel valued. Building trust with both the children and their families is really important to me, and I always strive to be dependable, caring, and attentive to each child’s individual needs.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have extensive professional experience, my younger brother is autistic, and I’ve spent a lot of time caring for and babysitting him. Through that, I’ve learned patience, understanding, and how to adapt to different needs and situations.
