I’ve had a wide range of experiences working with children and youth in different settings, which has helped me develop strong communication, leadership, and patience. I’ve babysat for several families, where I was responsible for ensuring the kids were safe, engaged, and cared for in a positive environment. I also worked as a camp counselor, which involved leading activities, resolving conflicts, and creating a fun, inclusive atmosphere for a group of children.
In addition to that, I volunteered at Safety Town, a program that teaches young children important lessons about safety, like how to cross the street or respond to emergencies. That experience taught me how to explain important concepts in simple, age-appropriate ways.
