I have volunteered for a program called Deep and Beyond, when I lived in Hawaii, where we helped disabled children and adults swim in the ocean, snorkel, and much more.

Playing StarWars and letting the child I nannied avenge the death of his hamster “Obe.”
He’d “lost Obe to Darth Vader,” (the explanation was not apparent) and so we went outside with plastic lightsabers, and he got his revenge on “Vader” (I was wearing the cape and everything)
It was overall a fun experience, I never got to play with stuff like that as a kid and my inner child really showed up in that moment.

Moved to Montana with my two adopted boys and my husband and I lived there for about 5-7 years and moved back to Anchorage Alaska.
