Hello! My name is Aubrey Hyder and I have been working with kids for 6+ years now. I worked specifically as a nanny from [phone number hidden], in that time frame I also worked as a camp counselor for a couple weeks out of the summers. While I was in college, I volunteered as an assistant teacher online for three months (this was during the peak of covid), where I helped children who have difficulties with reading and writing. Most recently, I worked as a lead teacher for ages 1-2 years old at a private daycare! I volunteered as a camp counselor for my school’s choir program, where we welcomed kids from ages 5-15 and taught them song and dance as well as partaking in other activities such as arts and crafts, recreation, and lunch. Our end goal was to perform the songs and dances we learned in a concert at the end of the camp for all of their families.

I love taking children to the park (with the permission of the parents), playing games (both imaginary and board), doing arts and crafts, telling stories, etc. Whatever the child is the most interested in is what I like to focus on for the most part.
