I did some Volunteer work at a daycare for a year, I’ve watched many of my friends and family’s for many years, and I am a mother myself.

I love playing games, especially ones that use the imagination. I love playing out doors, play grounds, drawing and crafts, sports, trampoline parks, laser tag, pretty much the same things most kids love!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a good example, being a good teacher as I understand kids are sucking everything up like a sponge. Helping them learn and discover heathy ways of dealing with negative emotions. Teaching them how to behave in life, and doing so with extreme patience and never ending love. I am stern with rules, and communicate this with children in a way they respond to and respect. Also so important, I have so much fun while doing this. I am a big kid at heart and I love to play with kids of all ages! I do really adore being with infants, and love playing, engaging, and teaching them as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One night, my son was 5, it was a special night he was allowed to stay up late. We drove a little ways out of town, got some
hot chocolate on the way, and parked where it was dark with no buildings or lights. There’s a meteor shower, and we are hoping to catch a few, as space is a big interest of his at this time. Well, we didn’t see any but had a blast laughing it up. He was being especially funny and delightful this particular night. It was so magical and will always remain a dear memory.
