The most important part about being a nanny is being someone who is both responsible and loving. Someone who keeps children safe but still likes to have a fun, good time.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a Paraprofessional in a special needs classroom for 2 years and an intern in another special needs classroom: Autism (levels 1-3), behavioral challenges, ADHD, dyslexia, and more. I also have a younger sibling who is both blind and deaf, with CHARGE syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when one of my sweet kiddos told me I was the best nanny ever because we went out for frozen yogurt after spending the afternoon having a picnic at the park. It absolutely melted my heart and reminded me that what seems like a small moment to us as adults is actually a big moment to our little ones.
