In addition to my 1 year paid experience at a daycare, I also have ample experience babysitting, especially for my younger siblings and nephews. Additionally, I have several years of experience teaching Sunday school at my church to ages 1-6.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to get on their level and involve them in imaginative, creative play. I love to do arts and crafts, read, play outside with them, play hide and seek and peek-a-boo and just be silly. I allow them to lead play by choosing what they want to do next but I also take initiative to move on to a new activity when I can tell they’re bored. I love to encourage them to problem solve and teach them to be determined and not give up easily.
