More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m an experienced babysitter who has cared for children from newborn through early elementary, including those with special needs. I bring a calm, reliable presence and adapt easily to each child’s routines, sensory needs, and communication style. I’m comfortable with infant care (feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep routines), toddler engagement, and homework or structured activities for older kids. I handle bedtime independently and have experience with overnights. I also support families with light housekeeping, simple meal prep, and pet care such as walks and feeding. Parents describe me as punctual, communicative, and great at keeping children safe, engaged, and comfortable. I’m available for evenings, weekends, and recurring schedules.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading with kids, playing make‑believe, and building stories together. I love dancing, exploring the outdoors, and creating simple activities that keep children engaged and active. I’m an energetic person who runs often, and I bring that same enthusiasm into playtime. I’m also very creative in my personal time and enjoy learning new languages and skills, which I love sharing with kids in fun, age‑appropriate ways.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, consistent, and supportive environment where children feel understood and cared for. Every child has their own personality, needs, and rhythms, and I believe in meeting them where they are with patience, structure, and warmth. Being a nanny isn’t just about supervising — it’s about building trust, helping kids feel confident, and supporting families so their home runs smoothly. I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and fully present, because those qualities help children feel secure and allow parents to feel at ease.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with special needs and always approach each child with patience, flexibility, and respect for their individual routines. I’m comfortable supporting sensory needs, communication differences, and behavior plans provided by parents. I focus on creating a calm, predictable environment and adapting activities so every child feels included, safe, and engaged. My goal is always to meet each child where they are and support them in a way that feels comfortable and empowering for them and their family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my funniest babysitting moments was when the parents came home and found me and the kids having a full dance party in the living room. We were pretending we were at a club (kid‑friendly, of course!) and they walked in right in the middle of our big finale. They laughed and said they could hear the music from outside and wondered what we were up to — then joked that I should’ve babysat them too because we were having so much fun. The kids were so sad when it was time for me to leave, which made the moment even sweeter.
