More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teacher's assistant at a preschool for a year. I taught and cared for kids ages 2-5.
I also was a nanny for a year for kids ages 1-8. I had 3 boys, ages 8, 6, 4, and one girl age 1.
I also have worked at an after-school program with kids ages 5-10.
For each of these experiences, I can provide a reference as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to read to kiddos. I remember reading the first time to the four year old I was taking care of and it was the most wonderful experience to see his eyes light up to a story. I also love to play in the dirt though- I like to clean and I know that is part of being a nanny, but the thing I love most about taking care of kids is playing out in the dirt. Bath time definitely takes a lot longer when we play outside, but its totally worth it to see them create games outside and learn about the world around them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is to love children well- and to teach their parent's ideals and rules as best you can while you take care of them. I know it is a hard decision to get a nanny for any parent or guardian, and the most relief I would have if I had a child and a nanny would be to know that my nanny was teaching the morals and ideals I have.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with kids with autism and oppositional defiance disorder. I worked with a kiddo with autism at the preschool I worked at, and one of the kiddos I nannied ended up being diagnosed with OPD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was kind of sad- but it taught me how to love a little boy who I'll call C.
C is super energetic and loved to run around at his parkour class, but sometimes had a hard time listening to directions. One class, he has to come sit with me and his younger sister a couple of times because the teacher had a 3 strikes rule to protect the safety of the other students while they learned a new skill.
While we were leaving the class, we walked to the car and as I was buckling his little sister in, he started to cry in his seat. He was so upset because he was not able to listen and got in "trouble" with the teacher.
It was the middle of summer, it was 5:15 PM and I had to get back to the house to make dinner and bath and I could have buckled them both in and drove off. But my favorite moment of being a nanny was to sit and hold a little boy and let him know he was so very loved by me and his parents.

It’s going on 2 1/2 years that I’ve been working with children, which is something I enjoy. It’s admirable watching first milestones be done and the overall growth that comes along with children. I’m an animal lover, going on walks or getting exercise in is important to me, and I enjoy cooking/learning new recipes. I’m reliable and well timely mannered. I’ve always seen things as, if you’re not 10 minutes early you’re late.

Hi, my name Is Nayeli Perez!
I'm a fun-loving patient young adult who works great with children. Taking care of kids is nothing new to me. I have cared for my little brother as a newborn until now at six years old. I am First Aid and CPR certified by the American Heart Association and am pursuing a career as a paramedic so taking care of people in general is my passion.
