I worked in a 2nd grade classroom for a year. This position I assisted the teacher and grew close to the students during free play and learning activities.
I also spent two summers working at a day care. The first summer I helped with a summer camp with all elementary aged kids.
I also spent a summer as a head day care teacher. I worked in the 3 year old classroom. We spent days playing outside and crafting. We also spent some time working on educational aspects that could prepare them for kindergarten!
