I’d really love the chance to care for your little ones. To me, babysitting isn’t just about watching over kids; It’s about creating a space where they feel safe, happy, and truly cared for. I enjoy spending time with children at my former job as a preschool Teacher. However, I disliked the lack of sanitation rules and the lack of one-on-one interaction with children especially those with special needs. I prefer getting to know individual children and to go beyond the basic requirements of a daycare . Either that’s playing, helping them learn new things, or just being someone they can feel comfortable around. I love getting to see their personalities shine and helping them grow in their own special ways.

My experience with special needs children...

Dependable on the child. Former experience at a preschool. Some require 1:1 interaction when they have anxiety and I’d practice soothing techniques mainly techniques given by the parent. Many didn’t liked to be touched or loud sounds so I avoided their triggers. I practiced patience, soothing techniques, sound machines, maintained distance but watchful, and etc.
