I am planning on graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this December, where I will earn a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and I just got accepted into an accelerated nursing grad program. In addition to my academic background, I have extensive experience caring for children as a full-time summer nanny, managing daily schedules, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 5. My hands-on experience in healthcare settings, including volunteering at a hospital and assisting in patient care, has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and handle various needs with compassion. I’m also a former Division I student-athlete. I also spent my summers working with 20-30 children at UNC volleyball camp where I was soley responsible for children ages 3-17. Additionally, I worked for the gameday staff at UNC which incorporated children into gameday and I oversaw their safety.
