During softball games while my mom played with her friends, I looked after their children, I’ve helped watch and played games like tag, pushing on the swing or hide and seek with children at parks who’ve taken a liking to me and lastly at my school I’ve aided in pre-k supervision!☺️
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy building a positive association with cleaning up after ourselves early on, making that a game! I enjoy drawing and coloring, we can sing and do karaoke, if trustworthy perhaps the park! We can play cars, dolls, make snack crafts or even normal crafts! We can dance and or play hide and seek, maybe we can learn about things together like reading or about dinosaurs
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is helping to create a positive and welcoming environment for a child, where they can be happy yet learn and grow all while helping out the parents and taking a little bit of weight off their responsibilities. It’s helping out and letting the parents feel at peace knowing their child is safe but also creating happy memories and learning healthy habits even if they cant always be there every moment.
My experience with special needs children...
I have little experience with special needs children personally, I have family with an autistic son whom I’ve spent a little time with supervising with no issues, my best friend has two autistic little brothers whom I love to bits; however that seems to be the extent of my knowledge
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite Nanny moment would have to be when a child I was caring for, a two year old and I played catch and he gave me a croissant and said you’re welcome when I said thank you. Another time his mother sent me a video of him in the car and he was singing a little song going “nanni, nanni”, the name he refers to me as. ☺️
