Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy so many activities. curating personalized daily activities based on the child's needs is so important. Some activities include blowing bubbles, riding bikes or scooters, playing hide and seek, having a picnic, gardening, visiting a playground, going on a nature walk, and making obstacle courses.
I also love indoor activities such as building forts with blankets and pillows, playing dress-up, baking, arts and crafts, coloring or painting, sensory activities, and dancing to music.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is the ability to create a safe, trusting, warm environment for not only the child but the family. Becoming an extension of the family is huge for me.
My experience with special needs children...
Becoming a teachers assistant for Special needs children was one of the most rewarding jobs I've done. Using visual aids, sign language, or assistive technology to helping students express themselves to guiding positive behavior, calming students, and reinforcing routines. I love helping and watching children develop into their own person.

hearing from the parents that the kids talk about me and miss me on my days off really warm my heart.

I've been working with children for 8 years as a preschool/toddler teacher and nanny. I absolutely love this field of work and have plans to make it a lifelong career! I strongly believe children are inherently deserving of respect and acknowledgement of their full personhood, individuality, and unique support needs. I specialize in anti-bias and trauma-informed care, with years of training and experience in both methodologies. I also have 3+ years of experience working directly with children with disabilities (especially neurodivergence).
