In the past, I have worked within a childcare center that had multiple special needs children in a classroom setting. I have worked with children who were on the higher functioning end of the spectrum while experiencing developmental differences such as being non-verbal or having high emotional reactivity. As a woman on the autism spectrum, I have also researched and learned much within the field of neurodivergence, allowing for me to have a strong understanding and patience for children of all kinds.
