Hi! My name is Avery Walsh and I’m from El Dorado Hills, California. I’m 19 years old and currently attend the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. I’m looking to babysit over the summer so I can save up for college! I have over 5+ years of babysitting experience. I’ve worked with infants to teens, and love children more than anything! I am a responsible, caring and dependable babysitter. I love spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun and supportive environment for them. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and am comfortable babysitting during late nights when needed. I have a swimming background of 8 years as well. In addition to childcare, I can help with homework, cleaning, meal prep, and grocery runs (baking and cooking are two of my favorite hobbies!). I’ve worked for a week long summer camp as a counselor for two years. I’ve traveled to Yosemite to babysit children overnight.

I love doing arts and crafts, reading together, outdoor games and sports, simple baking and cooking, board games and puzzles, helping with homework, swimming and water play, movie nights, going to the park/playground, imaginative play, coloring and painting, nature walks, playing hide and seek/tag, dance parties, musical activities. I try to avoid screen time as much as possible.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and loving environment where children feel comfortable, encouraged, and cared for. Building trust with both the children and their families while helping kids learn, grow, and have fun is what makes being a nanny so rewarding.
