Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an assistant teacher for my senior year at a high school that provided a preschool there for the ECE class. I also was a cheer coach to youth kids for the past three years and have babysitted a lot for friends and family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing with kids and seeing their imagination go wild! I love doing crafts, building forts, playing sports, going on walks, jumping on the tramp, paying pretend games, riding toys, going to the park, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
to me is creating a safe, warm environment where the children feel supported, comfortable, and loved in. Having a solid relationship with the children that is surrounded by trust and safety while supporting their growth and development.
My experience with special needs children...
I was fortunate enough to coach a special needs team in the sport of cheerleading. It was one of the greatest experiences I got to have with working with these kids. I helped them learn new skills and see them accomplish things they didn't think they could. I also got to become their friend and know them on a deeper level. They will always have a special place in my heart.
