Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I owned a non profit organization that taught girls in underserved communities about STEM, Higher education, and personal well-being. I am more than interested to continue this with your children. Furthermore I was a reading guide at an elementary school where I helped students develop and strengthen their reading skills.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the water! I did competitive swim for 5 years so I would love to take the children to the pool. I enjoy puzzles, reading, listening to music, playing with toys, and bringing a smile to your child’s face! Based on your child’s age I will likely come up with STEM based activities for us to do together and for my Littles who can’t quite do science yet, I will create sensory experiences and other age appropriate experiences for them.
My experience with special needs children...
I myself am a highly functional autistic women and I have found that autistic children find it a little bit more easy to adjust to someone who truly understands their struggles. Furthermore, my youngest sibling has ADHD and I have learned various accommodations and things to ensure comfort throughout his life. There is also scientific evidence that suggest neurodivergent people tend to flock together!
