More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My last nanny family I was able to care for a sweet baby girl from the time she was 3 months old until she turned 2, providing consistent, nurturing support through key developmental milestones. Working with this family was a wonderful experience, and I still maintain a warm relationship with them today.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning activities that let children express themselves and explore their interests while still providing gentle structure. Whether it’s creative play, outdoor adventures, story time, or simple learning games, I focus on activities that make them happy, engaged, and supported in a safe environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, nurturing relationship with both the children and their parents. Children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and understood, so I focus on creating a warm, fun and consistent environment where they can grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. At the same time, I view myself as a partner to the parents, making sure we communicate openly and work together to support their child’s needs and routines. That balance of care, trust, and professionalism is what I value most about this role.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive hands-on experience supporting children with special needs. One of my nanny families included a child on the autism spectrum, I also organized a prom event for middle- and high-school students with special needs during my senior year, and I have also cared for a non-verbal child with mobility challenges. These experiences have strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to provide individualized, compassionate care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I don't know if I have one favorite nanny moment because I've made such great memories with all of my nanny babies. But I love when they include me in their crafts or projects at school, ask me to bake a birthday cake together for my birthday, or even tell me they love me. Their little sweet gestures make my job feel even more worth it.
