A little bit about me

Hello! I am going into my senior year at NMSU. I am planning on graduating next May with a BA in linguistics and a BS in communication disorders. I am minoring in counseling and educational psychology. I love working with children which is why I want to become a speech therapist for school aged children after I graduate. I am currently on the track and field team at NMSU and throw javelin. However, I love playing all types of sports in my free time. While taking care of children I create nurturing, safe environments to promote social and intellectual growth. I like to read books to promote language development and plan recreational activities to explore stimulating exercises. I am also able to assist children with completing homework and special assignments to improve academic success. And most importantly I enforce rules to teach good manners and maintain a safe environment.
