I grew up with family friends who had 6 adopted children with Down syndrome and babysat them multiple times, they are such bright lights in this world!
In high school I had a class where we got to work with Preschoolers, my teacher saw me fit for working with a child one-on-one who had autism and she asked me to take that role and it was one of the most special opportunities I’ve had!
