Hi! My name is Bailey, I am looking for a part-time nanny/babysitting position in Portland. I have been working in healthcare since I graduated college in 2019, and just recently made a big move across the country to attend medical school in Aug of 2024.
I love taking care of kids, I have 2 younger siblings and a plethora of younger family members. I have my bachelors in biology, so I am very science-orientated and would love to incorporate that into your child’s daily life! I am not fluent in Spanish, but I am always working on getting better.
My class schedule is M-F from 8-1:30 right now, so any time after or overnight works well for me! I have reliable transportation of my own and have a great deal of experience with both dogs and cats.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied for two separate families. I've worked with one family with one boy, ages 5-9 with learning difficulties. The other family had two girls ranging from 6-14. I stayed with both families part-time for multiple years. I have two younger siblings that are both 4 and 12 years younger and have helped raise them as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, science projects, baking, educational and outdoors activities

My experience with special needs children...

One of the children I worked with had a learning disability and I helped greatly with homework and with general needs. My brother also has similar learning disabilities and needs special attention, especially in terms of education and I have had a big part in his at-home learning.
