I have cared for children with special needs, such as those with speech or social delays. I always try to create a safe and happy environment with patience and kindness. I use games and simple methods to help them learn and develop their skills so they feel comfortable and make progress.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time, I was helping a child put on their shoes. After a lot of effort, we finally got them on, but they looked at me upset and said, 'These aren't my shoes!' So we took them off and tried again, only for them to say, 'Oh... they are mine, but I put them on the wrong feet!' We both laughed so much, and in the end, we fixed it together😩. It was such a funny and sweet moment that reminded me of how innocent and adorable kids are!
