Hello, my name is Sheba. I have a passion for working with youth, I find joy in teaching them and caring for them as they maneuver through life. I have over 8 years of experience in childcare. I have also done voluntary work as a teacher’s aid for kindergartners while I was in undergrad. I have experience working with detained adolescents , who essentially needed the same type of care, patience, understanding, and attention as the younger children I’ve worked with. In all of these roles I left positive impacts, and in every role I made sure to teach the children I engaged with. From learning to read and write, to homework, to GED prep, to assisting in the classroom, education is very important to me and I make sure to extend any knowledge I have to the youth I am working with to help them be better versions of themselves.
