The most important part about being a nanny...
Not exactly a nanny moment but sometime in high school in my peer tutor class I had a student, Cole, who had autism and was non-verbal. He knew basic ASL and would occasionally use it but not regularly. There was a day I came into class and he ran up to me and gave me a hug and signed “I love you” to me over and over and that really just warmed my heart especially because he never told people that.
