Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteer around my community to help families that need a nanny/babysitter. I am also on older sister and have been babysitting my siblings for years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to cook, watch movies, play games, and do arts & crafts indoor. I love to play games, color, & do sports outside. As a babysitter it is my responsibility to do what makes the children happy, so we can do whatever activities they enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is tending to that families needs. My sister is also a nanny and she often looks at her families as the same. However, every family is different with different needs and rules. My job as a nanny is to take care of you and your family and do whatever needs to be done. If you need your kids to be distracted while you work, taken outside to burn off energy, work on homework, whatever it is my job is to help in whatever way possible.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with families members that have disabilities so I have a lot of experience. Not only that, but I have a lot of experience volunteering with other families that have special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I was babysitting a family with 4 kids all under the age of 9 at that time. I went to make lunch for them and they all wanted grilled cheese. The youngest is lactose intolerant and he couldn’t eat that so I made him chicken nuggets. I made everyone else their grilled cheese and went to get the chicken nuggets. When I brought them to him he wanted ketchup so I took it over there and put some on his plate. When I turned around he put ketchup on all of his siblings sandwiches and then proceeded to put it all over the table. Lesson learned… no ketchup for little kids lol!
