Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting to know the kids and letting them lead the activities. We love doing fun crafts or playing with their toys and games. I also love getting the kids outside when we can to play and go on walks, whatever the parents are comfortable with. It depends on the age and stage of the child’s development and what they enjoy doing!
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied a family full time for two years. A 7 year old boy and a 9 year old girl who had low functioning autism. I learned a lot within those two years. I also have worked in the medical field for a long time now and see patients with all different types of special needs and developmental delays.
