More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've done lots of volunteering with children. First i started out babysitting when i was a teenager for family/friends. Than i started volunteering at my school, to help out with the special ed classes after school with sports and what not. I also volunteered at a library where i would help host the children events, Either doing arts and crafts or interactive reading stories.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love planning creative, screen-free activities like outdoor play, park trips. I'm big on arts and crafts. from painting to coloring, too making seasonal crafts/ creations to let the imagination roam. My goal is to always keep children active, creative in a happy positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel valued, supported, and free to grow into their own unique personalities. I also deeply care about building a strong bond with the family, and always being someone you can rely on.

My experience with special needs children...

I do have experience with working with children and adults with disabilities, Physically and mentally. Both my aunt and my cousin are both on the spectrum and I have been a big contribution within there care. As well when I was 16 I would help out in the special ed classes!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the ones that make me laugh, For example being handed a toy phone and having a very serious "business call," getting a whole sticker makeover, or honestly my favorite is the brutal honesty of one day where my clothes weren't matching the best! There's nothing better than the giggle fits over absolute nothing, and the proud little faces when they show me a drawing! Its those silly moments that are very much unforgettable.
