My experience with special needs children...
I have two siblings who are autistic. One who is much more than the other.
Also, I have cared for a couple of other children with GI complications. A child with a bleeding disorder, and another with mobility delays.

It’s hard to choose favorite moments. I have had so many in my career. From meeting horses for the first time to learning how to float, to holing a cup with two hands. Each child has had momentous moments.
