In professional child care for more than four decades, along with a varied career in writing, catering and management. Experience includes working with multiple children, 0 - 12 yrs, twins, special needs, family counseling, mentoring, professional training, teaching in daycare, private and public schools, tutoring, special nutritional and physical or developmental needs. A mother of five, I have worked two decades in Boston, Massachusetts.
Education includes Elementary and Special Education, Interdisciplinary Fine Arts with a focus in Critical Writing, and multiple certifications related to child care and the food industry. I have written and published reading and unit study curricula, and also done illustrating and written manuscripts for children's books. Recent publications for Nanny Magazine, with my fourth published November 2018. I am currently working on a co-authorship project with a child & family psychologist on the subject of socially developmental behavior.

Building relationship. I look for a healthy, mutually loving and giving relationship between the parents. If it exists, then there is room for them to build a relationship with their children and with me. Honest, respectful and appreciative communication is in evidence when a healthy relationship allows for it.
