A little bit about me

I raised 5 children; 4 sons and 1 daughter, I also have 2 granddaughters 7 and 9. I have lots of experience, plus patience & energy for activities children love to do, and I stay fit so that I am able.
Children are a great joy. I will always carry out your wishes for your family because you have sacrificed, and your role and wishes are very important. I love animals and have cared for two dogs, cats, rabbits and birds too.
If someone asked me what I would do, if their child did not do as they were asked while I was caring for them on a babysitting job, I would tell them... I would like to have had a conversation with the parents before they left their children in my care, as to how they wanted me to handle that situation. I would like to follow what the parents wishes are, because you cannot make a child do anything. although you can make the parents happy by following their wishes.
My mom was a very loving parent, and she taught me so much.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I stayed home with all 5 of my own children until they got into kindergarten. I also have cared for my two granddaughters who are seven and nine years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Play board games, do puzzles, go to the park. Go for walks. Anything the child enjoys doing. Open to suggestions.

I do not have any experience with special-needs children. I can learn, and I am open to it. I have a lot of patience to give.

One time when I was watching an 8 year-old boy who asked for crackers and I said that he could go and get some, a few minutes after that I noticed his pockets were very full of them lol.
