A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Bianca!! It is hard to say just a little bit about myself because I feel there is so much that could be said. To start with my experience, I love spending time with children as I have 2 younger siblings myself that I am always trying to spend time with, and I have also always worked with children as I have been working at a summer camp the past 3 years, as well as partaking in part-time babysitting for the past 4. However, I am now going into college, and am now hoping for a job in the mornings to the afternoons since I will only be in school once a week. On a personal level, I love the beach, pool, playing sports, going shopping, and having fun in general. I am always up for trying new things and am so excited to potentially nanny any of your amazing kids!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite thing to do when I'm babysitting is to make sure the kids are having fun. I like seeing what they want to do, however I usually recommend stuff like going in the pool, going out to the beach, playing sports (I personally play volleyball, lacrosse, and competitive swimming). I also ask if they have any toys they want to play with when we are at home, or if they want to do some baking (I make the best brownies). Or even the simple things like going out for a drive, going on a walk, playing with any pets, or going grocery shopping with me. I have even introduced some of the kids I've nannied for to friends as I believe it helps them to socialize as well as have fun with new people!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is definitely making sure the needs of the parents are met while also being able to make sure the kids are happy and having fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I have volunteered in events that help kids in need, I have taken care of some special needs children, and was consistently babysitting a family that had a girl with special needs. I love helping people of all backgrounds and am also willing to learn anything I still dont know or even help in any way I can.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was watching a child I was taking care of grow and completely come out of her shell in the time I spent with her. She went from a quiet, shy kid to a goof ball that I always found myself laughing when I was with her. Although it is not a specific moment, just the feeling in the moments I had with her was amazing and I would love to help more kids come out of their shell and have so much fun with them
