I come from a big family with lots of kids, and so I babysit for my little ones often, and through high school I babysat for various families. My freshmen year of college I had a full time nannying position with a family from Nanny Lane!

My experience with special needs children...

I nannied a child full time my freshmen year who had a basic level of functioning autism. Him and I were best friends. Once we began to understand each other, we had a very strong relationship.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I left my nanny family to go home for the summer and they wrote me the sweetest card and gave me the warmest send off. That, to me, was my favorite because it solidified how important i was to them and their life.
