More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with children in many different settings over the years! I spent about five years volunteering as a youth cheerleading coach, and my first job was at an after-school program during my senior year of high school. Since then, I have worked in summer camps, after-school programs, babysitting, and early childhood education.
I currently work in a childcare center where I have cared for children from infancy through preschool age and have experience as both a teaching assistant and lead teacher. As a lead, I have been responsible for classroom routines, lesson planning, developmental activities, family communication, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for my students.
Working with children has always been a huge part of my life, and I love being able to bring what I have learned professionally into the families I babysit for as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Crafts are probably my favorite! I love anything that gives children a chance to be creative, whether that is painting, coloring, sensory activities, making seasonal crafts, or coming up with something based on their current interests. I also enjoy reading, imaginative play, going outside, playing games, and finding activities that match each child’s age and personality! I’m also perfectly happy having a cozy movie night or following whatever routine your child already loves!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments have been with children who needed a little extra time, patience, or support to feel comfortable. I once worked closely with a child who was having a difficult time participating successfully in our program. By taking the time to get to know him, understand what worked for him, and create a consistent plan together, I was able to build a really positive relationship with him. Seeing him become more confident, comfortable, and successful was incredibly rewarding.
Experiences like that are a big reason I love working with children. Every child is different, and I think one of the most important parts of childcare is meeting them where they are, earning their trust, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and understood.
